On paper, The Bahamas is ‘700 islands & cays’, though we don’t really operate as if there’s more than just Nassau. In…Read More
We know lockdown has you sad. It has all of us sad, and there’s no telling when it will end. But what if I told you I know of a company that will gladly break you out of lockdown in a heartbeat?
Before you get your hopes up, it’s important to understand that traditional travel is on the sidelines for a while and we will have to get creative to get the vacation we know we deserve.
Although we are on lockdown and not permitted to access beaches or enjoy inter island travel, a company has found a loophole in the laws. Reef snorkeling, coastal island sightseeing and visiting free dive sites are permitted.
Island Escapes is offering a yacht excursion for up to 15 people. Take advantage of a full day away at sea off the coast of Nassau, inclusive of lunch and cocktails. Boat leaves at 9 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m. for $5,500.
Before you say that’s a lot. Think of it like this – a full day at sea, food and cocktails whenever you want in a luxury 55 catamaran yacht. There are 6 bedrooms , if you ever need a nap (I’m pro-nap btw), a sun deck and snorkel gear.
Compared to being on lockdown at home, dreaming of the ocean, dreaming of the times we were allowed outside and just being miserable. $366.67 per person is amazing. Even freedom has a price.
If Nassau is too close for comfort for you, there’s a Northern Exuma – Sunken Escobar Plane and Sandbar Overnight excursion that may be right up your alley.
For $6,500 per night, 12 persons maximum can cruise to Northern Exuma and live their best life with a chef and crew.
Fall asleep with the water gently lapping the boat and wake up to the best sunrise views in The Bahamas. Enjoy meals prepared by your chef, surrounded by your best friends or maybe just you and bae. When you’re bored, take a dive to the Sunken Escobar Plane, see what secrets are hidden for you to explore. And end your day, chasing sunsets in Northern Exuma.
Book today by calling Island Escapes at 242-424-7117/677-6860.
